Broxtowe Independent Group Officially Registered with the Election Commission.

The Broxtowe Independent Group is delighted to announce that it is now fully registered with the Electoral Commission. This milestone marks a significant step forward for the group, as it solidifies its commitment to representing the interests of local residents in Broxtowe.

After completing the necessary paperwork and meeting all requirements, the group has received official approval from the Electoral Commission. Members of the Broxtowe Independent Group are thrilled with this achievement, which allows them to formally engage in the democratic process and work towards making a positive impact in the community.

“We are absolutely delighted to have our registration confirmed,” said Councillor Barbara Carr, the group’s Business Manager. “This is a crucial step for us as we continue to build our presence and connect with the people of Broxtowe. Being officially recognised by the Electoral Commission means we can now focus on what really matters – listening to residents, addressing their concerns, and working together to create a better future for our community.”

To celebrate this achievement and to connect with local residents, members of the Broxtowe Independent Group will be available to meet the public this coming Saturday, 22nd February 2025, from 10:00 am until 11:30 am, at the Chayah Development Project office, 3 Church Street, Stapleford, NG9 8GA. This is a fantastic opportunity for residents to meet the group, share their views, and discuss local issues in an informal and friendly setting.

The group is eager to hear from residents about the matters that matter most to them, whether it’s improving local services, supporting community projects, or addressing broader concerns. “We’re really looking forward to speaking with local residents and hearing their thoughts,” added Councillor Carr. “This is all about working together to make Broxtowe an even better place to live, work, and thrive.”

The Broxtowe Independent Group encourages everyone to stop by and say hello this Saturday. Whether you have a specific issue to raise or simply want to learn more about the group’s vision, the team will be on hand to chat and answer any questions.

For those unable to attend, the group will be organising further events and opportunities to engage with the community in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for updates and follow their progress as they continue to work towards a brighter future for Broxtowe.

The Broxtowe Independent Group is proud to be officially registered and continue to make a positive impact in the community. Let’s work together to make a difference!
