This journey has been anything but easy. There were moments when it felt like an uphill battle, but through it all, we stayed committed. We hit the pavements, rain or shine, armed with determination, leaflets, and—thankfully—some wonderful volunteers who gave their time and energy to support us. To each and every one of you who helped deliver leaflets, spoke to neighbours, or simply offered a kind word—thank you. You made a real difference.
We had countless conversations with residents, and listened to a wide range of views, concerns and hopes for our community. We took those conversations to heart and did our absolute best every step of the way. We didn’t leave anything on the table—we gave it everything we had.
This result, earning the second biggest share of the vote, is something we are incredibly proud of. It shows that people believed in what we stood for, and that means the world to us.
A very special thank you must go to Danni—for your patience, support, and understanding through all of this. Campaigning can take a toll, and your constant presence behind the scenes made it possible for us to keep pushing forward.
To everyone who supported us—thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Onwards and upwards.
