Loneliness Awareness Week 2021

This Loneliness Awareness Week I have been working with WaveLength to reduce loneliness and social isolation in Broxtowe.

I am delighted that by working with WaveLength I have managed to secure tablets and televisions for both Middle Street Resource Centre and Broxtowe Women’s Project to assist with their provision for their service users. It was great to be able to visit both organisations this week to learn how the equipment will be used. I know Middle Street Resource Centre are looking forward to using the digital equipment to help teach IT skills to individuals within the local community, and Broxtowe Women’s Project will use the equipment to support women and children who have suffered domestic abuse
