Fire Service Training at Hickings Lane

Earlier in the Summer Stapleford Fire and Rescue Services requested permission to use the Hickings Lane pavilion for training.

They needed a building with an unusual internal layout which lots of rooms that they were not familiar with when filled with smoke. The pavilion at Hickings Lane was ideal with various changing rooms, toilets, shower areas, storage and social rooms.

The exercise proved a huge success with the artificial smoke quickly disappearing when the building was opened back up.  The Fire and Rescue Service are keen to book another session later in the year

Thank you to Broxtowe Borough Council for allowing the Fire Brigade to use the local Pavilion.
