Dear Richard,
Thank you for sharing this meeting’s agenda. I wonder if you could raise the following at the panel, as I have not yet received a reply from the PCC’s office:

Dear Mrs Henry,
I received a copy of your leaflet entitled VALUE FOR MONEY POLICING 2023-24. I would like to understand, as a resident paying significantly increased Council Tax charges, what value is generated by the £2,600,000 your leaflet says your office will cost in the period ahead.
I appreciate that there are administration costs involved with running our force, however a cost of £216,000 per month for your office surely requires further explanation. As an elected official, spending public money, I hope that you will agree that full transparency in this regard is particularly important at these times of escalating costs. I would therefore appreciate visibility of a breakdown of these costs, and the value returned by this investment of public funds.

Having spoken to the Police and Crime Commissioner I am told you will be sent a reply.

Thanks for doing that Richard. Disappointingly, I’m still waiting for a response!
