Local elections are your chance to have a say on the issues that matter most to your community – and on 1st May, or sooner if you have a postal vote, we are asking you to use that voice.
In Nottinghamshire, Nottinghamshire County Council is responsible for the maintenance of our highways – this includes tackling the potholes that are causing damage to vehicles and putting safety at risk. We’ve all seen them, dodged them, or hit them – and we all agree more needs to be done.
We’re not going to make empty promises and say “vote for us and every pothole will be fixed.” That wouldn’t be honest. What we can promise is that if elected, we will speak up and hold the council to account for the poor quality of repairs that are too often carried out. You deserve better, and your roads do too.
We will actively put forward roads for repair and be your voice in Council meetings. Whether it’s reporting the issues residents raise with us or standing firm in demanding better standards, we won’t sit quietly – we will represent you.
