Having spent many years working as a carer, Donna MacRae is deeply passionate about ensuring that residents across Nottinghamshire receive the social care support they need and deserve. She understands firsthand the challenges people face – whether they’re older adults needing extra help at home or families navigating support for children with complex needs. If given the opportunity, Donna is keen to bring her lived experience into action and work to improve services for everyone.
Richard MacRae, is already active in this area as the Chair of the Children and Young People’s Task Group for Broxtowe. Richard is committed to making sure the voices of local families and young people are heard. He wants to take this passion and experience further by getting more involved in children’s services at a county level.
If people Vote MacRae on 1st May, both Donna and Richard are ready to work hard to make social care more accessible, better funded, and focused on real community needs.
