We all want to live in a safe, clean, and welcoming community – but this can only happen when we all play our part. If you are aware of issues such as drug dealing, anti-social behaviour, or other criminal activity in your area, it’s important that you report them. Every report helps to build a clearer picture and allows the Police to take action where it’s needed.
There are several safe and confidential ways to report crime – including anonymous services if you don’t want to give your name.
Crimestoppers – 100% Anonymous, Always
If you suspect drug dealing or other criminal activity, but don’t feel comfortable going directly to the Police, you can contact Crimestoppers. This independent charity guarantees your anonymity – they will never ask for your name or trace your call.
You can report online at: https://crimestoppers-uk.org
Or call free on 0800 555 111 – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Fearless – For Young People
Fearless is a service provided by Crimestoppers for young people. It allows you to report crime 100% anonymously and also provides helpful information and advice about crime, safety, and making good choices.
If you’re under 25 and worried about crime in your area, or even your friends being involved in something wrong, visit: https://www.fearless.org
You can report what you know without ever revealing who you are.
Contacting Nottinghamshire Police Directly
If you want to report a crime or concern directly to the Police, you can do this online at the official Nottinghamshire Police website:

You can also call:
101 – For non-emergency reports (e.g., ongoing drug dealing, vandalism, or general concerns).
999 – For emergencies only (e.g., if a crime is in progress or someone is in immediate danger).
Know the Difference: 999 vs 101
999: Use this number only in emergencies, where there is an immediate risk to life, or a crime is happening right now.
101: Use this for all non-urgent matters, including reporting suspected drug activity, anti-social behaviour, or sharing intelligence that may help the Police investigate crime.
Your Information Matters
Even if it seems like a small detail, reporting it could make a big difference. Drug dealing and other illegal activity can have a devastating effect on our neighbourhoods – but together, we can take a stand.
If you see something, say something.
Your report could be the missing piece that helps stop crime in our community.
