Raising money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA).

Throughout January, from Thursday 1st right through to Saturday 31st, I will be taking on a personal running challenge to raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA).

Over the course of the month, I will be running at least 31 miles — a minimum of one mile every single day. Some days will be tougher than others, but every mile completed will be driven by a determination to support people and families living with motor neurone disease (MND).

MND is a cruel and devastating condition. It affects the brain and nerves, causing muscles to weaken and waste away. Everyday actions many of us take for granted — walking, talking, eating, and even breathing — can become increasingly difficult. There is currently no cure, and the impact on individuals and their loved ones is profound.

Every day in the UK, six people are told the devastating news that they have motor neurone disease (MND). In that moment, their world — and the world of those closest to them — can be completely shattered. The MNDA is there to provide vital support, practical help, information, and hope during the most challenging of times.

Will you join me in showing your support for families affected by MND?

Your donation can make a real and immediate difference:
💙 £12 could provide an information pack for someone newly diagnosed with MND.
🧡 £20 could buy an LCD writing tablet, helping someone continue to communicate in written form.
💙 £52 could fund a Biozoon kit, enabling someone with MND who can no longer swallow to enjoy their favourite tastes again.

Every mile I run is dedicated to raising awareness and funds for this vital cause. Your donation, however big or small, will help to make a real difference to the lives of people affected by MND and those who care for them.

Thank you so much for your support.
