At Council last night I thanked our waste team for Monday’s Bulky Waste Day in Stapleford.
Over 4.5 tonnes collected at 2 locations in one day. That’s how big the fly-tipping / bulky waste issue is here.
I asked for MORE of these days across Stapleford. People struggle to get to the tip and community members were even collecting for neighbours who couldn’t drive.
Amazing effort from staff and residents. Let’s get more dates booked.
