

Visit from Cabinet Minister, Amanda Milling, to Stapleford
On Friday, I welcomed Cabinet Minister and Co-Chairman of the Conservative Party, the Rt Hon Amanda Milling MP, to Stapleford on the second day of her Levelling Up Tour across the country.
I was delighted to have the opportunity to speak to her about Stapleford Towns Deal and how the £21.1 million investment will revitalise the area, making a real difference to jobs and opportunities for local people. As part of her tour, we visited Stapleford Library to learn about the funding the library will be awarded from the Towns Fund as well as Robert Ellis, the estate agents, to hear from Paul Sweeney, a local business owner and Vice Chair of the Towns Deal Executive Board, on how the investment will regenerate the town centre.
